Have
already work in Haresfield Primary producing ‘mini-beasts’
from clay. For Stroud college, modroc masks with GCSE students at
Cirencester (2 x 25). Willow and tissue paper lanterns with GCSE
students from 5 schools, and supporting claywork for GCSE art.
Will
also lead painting/drawing groups with 7-11 based on 20th Century
artists.
Larger than life cardboard models of machines and household objects
was an interesting workshop for 14-16 yr olds I could repeat too.

Statement
Gained
a BA(Hons) in 3D Art and Design from Bath Academy 1979 specializing
in ceramics and printed textiles.
Travelled widely – lived in Australia, America and Germany.
Focus
on ceramics with a function with unusual forms, which are thrown,
cut and reassembled or press-moulded. All work is slip decorated
and inspired by the weather forcast and the natural world.
Worked
in German pottery as a thrower for a year, participated in a Millenium
project with 10 other schools producing tiles with a primary school
in Chippenham, public tile commission for Nailworth town counciller
attatched to Library wall, tiles in Ruskin Mill coffee shop, co-ran
childrens Saturday art club for 5 years, Open Studios 7 years, exhibited
in Cirencester, Prema, Cheltenham, Bristol, Broardway, Chepstow,
Ebwe Vale Garden Festival and Stuttgard Garden Festival.
