Workshops Offered

I like to offer Site specific projects collaborating with the users of that environment for that space.

This can range from interior /exterior sculpture (which may also be used as seating or used in a variety of ways) in carved ceramic brick,

or maybe a wall work in ceramic panels/ mosaic or painted tile panels.
It really depends on the needs of a group.

Artist Statement

Since receiving her Degree in Ceramics in 1991 Karen has continued her own studio practice alongside her work with various community groups . She has extensive experience working as an Artist within schools and with acute Psychiatric services with the NHS and latterly with the Gloucestershire Artlift project within GP’s practices.

Her studio work always references her environment and when working with groups she looks at what the needs and interests of that particular group are and tailors an approach particular to them.

Karen has been a finalist in the outdoor space category of the BDA awards 2009 and 20010.
And with a gallery garden as a collective a bronze award at Hampton Court Flower show.
