Judy classes herself as a piano-singer-songwriter and acquired herself the nickname ‘Miss Elton John’ when she was at school. Judy began song-writing when she was 14 when she set a number of Spike Milligan’s poems to music. Judy works across the whole spectrum of genres but prefers pop, rock and jazz as she was also inspired by the vocal performances of Ella Fitzgerald.
