Artist Statement

‘11 out of 10! Outstanding and creative’ North Leamington School

‘Honor is so positive and respectful with the group and it just brings out the best in them.’ Defford-cum-Besford School

I am really passionate about the role that drama can play in people’s lives whether they are an audience member or a participant. All of my work is fun and is built around playing with ideas and themes through drama. It is my aim for everyone to come out of a workshop and feel like their confidence has grown and they have learnt something they didn’t know they could do at the start. I aim for all of my work to be visually exciting and for the participants to have ownership of it.

I have worked with children, young people, teenagers, and offenders. I trained in Manchester and worked with TiPP (Theatre in Prisons and Probation). I have also worked for Snap Children’s Theatre Company, Roses Theatre Tewkesbury, Swan Theatre Worcester, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire Youth Offending Service. I work for VAMOS Theatre Worcester and run Vamos Youth Theatre Gloucestershire in Bishops Cleeve.
