Workshops Offered

I’d be happy to do any. But I think Collage - great fun - involves children scavenging/collecting stuff (prior to me turning up).... I’d supply a list of things in an ‘imaginative’, stimulating, way for them.

Artist Statement

I’ve done lots of things in my life. I’ve been a designer, Art Director, Copywriter, managed Poets (Roger McGough and Brian Patten), been a partner in a publishing company specialising in Children’s books. I’ve worked for the Beatles and Paul McCartney.

I’ve also interviewed a number of major contemporary artists for magazines like MODERN PAINTERS. I’ve also co-produced a documentary on Robert Rauschenberg for BBC2. Artists interviewed include: Sir Peter Blake, Louise Bourgeois, Bernard Buffet,
Robert Rauschenberg, Anish Kapoor and Peter Doig. A pretty eclectic bunch!

I’ve never been to Art School.

But, I‘ve been painting/drawing since I was a pre-teen.

Art is something I’m passionate about.

I’d love the opportunity to inspire children. Open their eyes to the creative possibilities they have, whatever they may feel about their abilities, have fun in the process, and achieve something they can be proud of.
