Workshops Offered

1. Drawing and observation…. Lots of interesting and fun exercises to develop drawing skills and techniques. ( based on workshops at the Royal Academy). Excellent at any age and for any ability.

2. Print making… monoprinting, screenprinting, linoprinting, coliographs.

3. Silk painting.

4. Mosaic.

5. Modeling and sculpting using both/either Modrock or found materials/‘rubbish’.

6. Painting and drawing using inks,watercolour, pastels, acrylics and mixed media. Fun and interesting techniques and effects.

Artist Statement

Alison Vickery is a professional artist working in a wide range of media, including inks, watercolour, pastels, and acrylics. She paints and draws subjects inspired by Nature in a loose, spontaneous style. Her work is widely exhibited, is in many private collections and is permanently exhibited in galleries in Minchinhampton, Gloucester and Beaconsfield. Alison’s work is also reproduced as cards, on ranges of textiles, on porcelain and many other products. She has been an Artist in residence on a number of occasions.
Alison is passionate about Art, and is experienced in teaching and running workshops for groups of any age from primary school up to Degree level. She has also run many classes for amateur Art groups.
